Upon reading your article, I realize that most of my life, I have been a “victim “.
Now sometimes I am the ” rescuer”.
Hopefully I will never become a ” persecuter “.
Thanks for writing such an interesting and informative blog and explaining everything so succinctly.
Ankitta, first and foremost nice article. I disagree on the women thing. Can you count the number of times you or any woman has stood up to speak up their mind and the issue at hand and draw that line? Yes, we don’t forget (forgive) in a fear that the same incident may happen again and at times even telling assertively and affirmatively – is not taken well by our loved ones and then there comes a choice if you wish to speak up or just let go for another hurtful event to happen.
It’s a long way for us to speak up and heal ourselves – at least as a woman.
[…] When she registered for Vipassana retreat in 2020 Feb, all she wanted was to learn to accept death if healing doesn’t happen. But on the 7th day, as she was meditating on the chest area, she felt that a huge negative energy left her right lung where the tumor was located. A sudden feeling of fear and anxiety was accompanied by a light body and a chaotic mind. That was when she felt prana entering the dead area where the tumor was located. You can read about her magical experiences during the Vipassana retreat here. […]
Hi Ankita, how are you doing? I am missing you here and on Quora. Unfortunately I don’t have a quora account anymore. I hope you see this and know that I am thinking of you and sending good thoughts.
I am a fan of Positive Thinking. I was very happy to see these Positive Thought books come alive in Ankita and Prapti as well. I am sure many will get benefited by reading this story to follow suit. Prapti, you are an Angel of Positivity. Thanks for sharing your beautiful story.
Hi there, i read your blog from time to time and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam remarks? If so how do you stop it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.
Hi Ankkita,
It feels so peaceful to read through your blogs and to know that there are others like me who go through the same thing. You really have a way with words, and are able to express the feelings so beautifully. Something which I find very hard to express.
I have been thinking about Vipassana for few years now. Would like to know which is the place that you went to?
Really it is great..
The Karma we are doing now the definitely results we will get in future.
Like in Bhagwat geeta Sri Krishna said, “Do selfless karma and leave everything to me”
Everything goes around come back to you .
Thank God ! I intake all the above items in abundance except that berries as they are hardly available in the normal market here. Though I eat lot of other fruits.
Very very interesting post !!!! Number of times you have mentioned LOA in your writings but this one is most convincing and yet mindblowing 😀
“Giving Out What You Most Want, Comes Back To You Better Than You Imagine.” exactly !!!! and that’s why you people never faced any fiscal problems and I am sure you people will continue to live this happily everafter 🙂
Yes mind is everything … you think and you put effort, for sure, things going to happen… However at this moment I am naive in case of LOA.. I will surely try that E-Square book for more …thanks for sharing !!!!!
I am the most negative thinker around, I bet!!! On contrary, my wife has a bad habit of seeing and thinking the positive side of every possible situations/things etc :P…. this leads to severe altercation sometime and in which, as a true man, I always tends to apologize in the end :'(
Great blog !!! keep going and be safe and healthy 🙂
I have been reading about all this since a year now and have been practicing it since past year and it really works. You said it right you can’t be positive all the time but once you start thinking from a certain frame and you practice it daily like just seeing the good part of the situation or may be be calm in distress situation it helps alot and achieving things law of attraction becomes and easy. It was really good to read your blog as it also gave me a new read that is E².
What a lovely article. I hope you are well with your health. I really enjoyed it.

From what I’ve understood from my past “experiments”, this law requires an undeterred belief as the fuel. I had started with visualizing normal yet unlikely circumstances which somehow happened one way or the other. That initial “beginner’s luck” is very much crucial as it tends to make/break the faith of an individual, which then only increases exponentially once it starts working consistently. Hence, I think it’s more of a feedback loop of faith and dreams, the more you invest … the more you can afford to dream.
To be honest, I support Joseph Murphy’s take to this law as a direct manifestation of the subconscious. Every prayer to God is recorded by the subconscious, and while you see it becoming true, the concept of God (or otherwise) is further reinforced religiously. I don’t know if God exists, or if the whole cosmos/subconscious is a product of pseudoscience, but I do know that nature has its mysteries which are beyond our comprehension if thought rationally.
Yes, I guess it’s about subconscious mind though I believe even if we put the effort in visualizations for few minutes as explained in ‘Ask and it is given’ it works. Its better than not doing any visualization. And I soo much believe in the concept of God. I have seen it working!
You are into meditation, but garlic inhibits the process of mediation due to its nature(according to Ayurveda). Many gurus have advised against consuming it daily as it should be treated as medicine and not food. it would be great if you share your experience of whether it has affected your meditation and what would dose do you recommend a healthy person.
Yes, a healthy person shouldn’t eat garlic that much. I mean not daily since we consume it in food too as it creates heat in the body. But if someone is having any health issue, it’s good to add RAW garlic in diet for few days so that it prevents the body from pathogens and support in liver in body detox.
Very inspiring thought provoking post Ankita mam .?.I am your Quora follower…iam interested in Spirituality too like you ..

Thanks for this wonderful, detailed article.
Yesterday night I was thinking of asking you for some details about the LOA.
This morning ,I found this detailed article on the LOA.
Is this just a happy coincidence, or a Manifestation, I wonder?
haha. Maybe a Manifestation! You never know when the Universe listens to you 😉

Really a heart touching story. It shows the reality versus our expectations. It is a nice piece of learning to others as well. As nothing is prefect in this world we should stop searching for a perfectionist. Thanks for sharing ?

Love every bit of this story, there is no perfect person and we cannot enter a shop to look for our customized partners but rather, remove all barriers we put on others and then surely, love will blossom when we least expect it. i still cannot explain how hearts meet and fall completely for someone without any serious reasons. all these are nature and the universe. indeed true love is not conditional or attached to anything but rather open and compassionate. a collection of hearts living for each others happiness. Sharing is caring
Thanks alot Ankkita for sharing.

Congratulations to the kid for kicking the butt of cancer and kudos to all those who are courageously going through this journey or have already won this battle.
This reminds me of a quote – “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.”
Thanks for sharing the story Rohit and Ankkita.
Woaah Rohit! This has left me speechless and with all the more awe and admiration for you! Now I know where all the positivity and the zest for life comes from ❤
Lots of love and power to you and your family and everyone else fighting from this monster.

Thank you for writing this ankita, i keep reading your answers on Quora and they are very helpful to readers like us, but this one is special because I have been trying to forgive someone but it’s been a struggle. I now know why and can work on jt. Thanks a lot and wish you a speedy recovery ?
Indeed it does. And I have observed that guys forgive easily, while the ladies take time. They roast the incident, fry it, and chew it till it burns their heart. Ouch!

Prapti, you’ve come out victorious over the devil. Your positive attitude towards life, determination to conquer over the devil and sheer grit to endure the ordeal of your life made you see and explore the world around you again.
Here I’d like to share some beautiful lines from “STOPPING BY WOODS ON A SNOWY EVENING “by Robert Frost.
“The woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep. ”
Indeed you have crossed a mile sailing through the turbulent ocean and landed safely on the shore.
May your life be joyous for ever!

Your zeal, enthusiasm and never say die attitude is inspiring. You took life as it came. And you have gathered these valueable experiences and the insight that life need not to be taken for granted. That this ‘king of all maladies’ has made you aware that you are mortal. That you will experience life to it’s fullest rather than just passing life and waiting for death. In the process you have realized that to live one has to die every moment for it. That we are all in the same boat and the battle goes on.

Hi. I’m glad he found ankkitasinha.com website, I really like it, the article is very useful and I shared it!
In order to survive the hard times ahead we found 2 very good books, you can download them here: https://bit.ly/2RlAHdb and here: https://bit.ly/3e3Bg59
Great success with this site!
Thank you.. I needed this read. I am struggling with stomach issues from last one year and have been in different antibiotics with chronic gastritis. On days like today when I see people eating regular food, and I struggle myself with a bite to eat .. I appreciate the time, i was normal or healthy and used to eat.. good days bad days.. some days I feel i can never go back to normal.reading this gave me hope
I am glad it helped Devinder 🙂 I know its tough to be positive all the time, but little things help. Btw, have you read the book ‘The Gut makeover’? May be it can help. Also my husband had gastric issue too, not that chronic though, but drinking celery juice every morning with an empty stomach helped him a lot.
Loaded with healthy information !!!! Stay safe and calm and stay inside, its family time !!!! 🙂 Hope situation will be better after 2 weeks only. Till then think more and write more hahahaha 😀
Wonderful Article Ankkita, I’m glad for following you from Quora and now visited your blog, This one is a life changer..Its gonna help many people including me!
More power and love to you..Keep doing the amazing work 🙂
Wow, what a lovely read.
I have been meditating vipassana for last 3 years and has attended and served multiple courses. The challenge of “observe it” still remains.
About “What if he runs away”, something similar happened when my wife attended her first vipassana course(It was my fourth), I kept thinking what if she wants to leave the course, but she survived the course :-).
It has been a life-changing experience as you have mentioned. I am trying to be more regular with my daily practice.
But reading someone else’s experience makes me believe in the power of meditation and the need to practising it.
Thanks once again for sharing this with us.
Thanks Bhavesh 🙂 I can totally relate to what you shared. I am trying to be regular though it gets hard to practice it in daily life. It’s better to keep going for such camps so that the practice keeps going. Cheers!
The instant change was that I got rid of shoulder pain and back pain..Along with that, I feel I am more calm and composed now. It is tough to express in words, but it has been a wonderful experience and I wish to go again soon. 🙂
I know …and I have seen throat and lung cancer patients very closely during my one week stay in Tata Memorial, Mumbai for my wife’s surgery. I saw the sufferings and pain they were going through for mere smoking …. I smoke max 2 per day … but still I know it could lead me to some gruesome results …. but the subtle kick of nicotine, I just can’t resist to have atleast twice a day….
Your comment doesn’t sound rude or scary but is filled with concern …. Thankzzz 🙂
Lets see when I could overcome this dangerous liaison 😀
Its tough !!! I guess and need lots of mental as well as physical strength. I hope your previous experience of Yoga and meditation helped a bit. But still Vipassana seems a lot more and quite challenging with long hours of meditation without movement, the silence, moderation of foods …
Dinner at 5pm is just unimaginable. 5pm is for samossas or egg-mutton roll, tea etc 🙁 I guess I could not do it 🙁 I need two cigarettes atleast, one at dawn and one before sleep as an inspiration for the rest of the day’s fight :'( How was the foods by the way ?
“I was worried, ‘What if he runs away?’ ” this is nice one indeed :P… but stop underestimating men BTW B-)… Vipassana is natural to us 😀
Day 7 was such a haunting one and it was such a lifetime experience to be remembered !!!!
Vipassana teaches us to accept our feelings as they come. My husband has been sleeping all day since the time we are back from retreat. When asked, he is like, ‘I am accepting my feeling that I feel like sleeping.I am implementing Vipassana on day to day basis.’ lOL. I guess things are hard when you just hear it, as I have habit of eating 5 short meals a day just to keep my energy up, but I sustained on that routine. And people shared that they got rid of addiction too once they finished the retreat. I don’t want to sound scary..But do you know that I have Lung Cancer? and I never smoked..Since I never smoked, the subtype of lung Cancer I got has little more survival rate and less intense treatment, but for the regular smokers its pretty painful and worse.. I swear, I don’t want to scare you or anyone, but when they say that ‘Smoking kills’, it’s actually true. I see it everytime I go to the Cancer Hospital where I see people struggling with Chemo and surgery (Lung Cancer has the highest death rate among all Cancers). My sincere advice to you is to lessen/get rid of this habit. Life is precious. And it’s scary to see death staring at us right away.I have been through it and I have fought it thrice. Still go through it every month when I visit the hospital. I know the feeling. 🙁 Excuse me if I sounded too rude, or I scared you any way. I just wish the best to you and for you. I pray you get better and stronger mentally and physically. 🙂
Lovely article. I really enjoyed reading it. I have been thinking of doing this for the past few years but I am not sure if I am ready for it yet. The emotions can be quite intense. Thanks for sharing your experience
Spot on wіth this write-up, I actuаlly believe this website needs far more

Hey ankia, do u remember loosing your appetite and stomach issues before your diagnosis? I recently diagnosed with celiac and h pylori.my symptoms are coming on and off.i am getting night sweats not bad but just my neck or upper part is in sweat,i am loosing weight ad well but doctor says its cz I have no appetite.i had endoscopy,ct scan with dye ,ultrasound and only my upper endoscopy showed my small intestine are inflamed due to celiac. Its so frustrating when u are not eating. I have clinical depression as well so that makes things worse.somtimes I doubt if my diagnosis is correct.my parents want me to go india for second opinion
I usually listen to soothing music before I sleep; and remember the times when I was rocked to sleep as a kid 😉 ; and I too play on a swing for a while before bedtime…trust me it helps me sleep like rock….
Thanks for making people aware about this disease and trying to remove the stigma which surrounds it. It is just like any other disease but most people never disclose anything wrong with their breast just because they fear getting judged by people when in reality, health should be everyone’s primary concern.
Hello! I am a gold medalist in sleeping! If I could teach it to others, I’d be rich! I don’t do anything out of the ordinary. I shower before bed – warm water, not too hot. When I think back on all the times I went to bed with the day’s dirt, pollen, and sweat on me – I just can’t imagine doing that now. Some stretching – kind of a combination of planks and yoga – not long, just a few minutes followed by deep breathing. I have a friend who has a small glass of milk every night before bed. I have tried a couple of times to have something small – maybe a yogurt or some cottage cheese right before bed. I think it helped. Your body needs nourishment as you sleep (especially if you sleep as long as I do). I think it gave me what I needed to wake up better (I’m going to try that again tonight). My problem is not going to sleep, but getting up. ;o) I take melatonin now and then, but don’t really need it. The only difference I see is dreams are sometimes more vivid. Best from Indiana!
Get well soon dear. You are a strong girl . More respect for your husband. Thank you so much for informative blog. Keep writing and spread you knowledge.
Warm lemon water is such a nice remedy and easy to make at home as well as in office also. I will surely try.
Please write some home remedy for prevention of weight gain. Two months back I was 15kg overweight 🙁 and after that I stop taking my weight out of fear 😐
I really hope you take care of increasing weight. It’s not unhealthy but its not healthy too 🙂 Will write something about it definitely 🙂 Till then, keep your food cravings in check 🙂
Yes I am trying to check my food craving to maximum extent, sometime I could control and sometime I failed to resist 🙁
I am also thinking enrolling into gym or yoga center 😉 Hoped to get a guidance from your blog 😀

No worries my dear 🙂 No, I don’t buy it from Davids Tea. I buy it from Amazon website. If you are in US or Canada I can share you the link. If you are in India, I know that Amazon does not have Gyokuro Tea on Amazon India website (I searched it for my parents). But Matcha Tea is there.
Hi Sonal, I buy it online in Canada. If you are in India, see if you can find it online. Else Matcha Tea is also a wonderful option to go with. It has pretty similar properties as Gyokuro Tea. Cheers!
Ankkita’s blog is literally one of the best food and nutrition blogs anywhere I read it all the time and I’m also
grateful I found https://leancoding.co/ENVGMX it not only helped me lose weight but keep it off I hope it helps
some others!
I don’t think it’s correct my dear. Of all the books and articles I have read on Green Tea, I never found something like this. Infact Green Tea is super healthy!
Nice article. Because of bad food practices I have gained a lot of weight. 88 kilos now. I am regularly going to gym to have a healthy body now. I don’t want to use pills to detox. Please tell me the natural way to detox the harmful toxins. And also mention how frequent should we detox.
I think it varies from organ to organ Vipin. I do colon detox after every 2-3 weeks. Other than that I try to detox twice in a year for 3-4 days when I juice throughout the day. Since I am a clean eater, I do not stress much on 7-14 days detox. Stay tuned to my posts and I will share more about easy detox plans. For the time being, you can stop/reduce sugar and processed things. Going to gym is a wonderful way to get in shape too 🙂
Hello Ravi, it’s best to start from colon detox. Use one weekend to do that. 3 glasses of warm water, mix it with salt and lemon and drink it. After 10-15 minutes you will feel the need to go to loo. It will continue for 3-4 rounds to washroom. It’s the easiest way to clean your colon from long stayed debris. Make sure you take a spoon of ghee after you finish. Try it and let me know how it goes 🙂
Well written Ankkita. Thank you for your advice. It really is strange how we neglect our bodies till it breaks. Am gonna try this detox regime very soon.

“This part of my life, this part right here? This is called ‘happiness'” … movie ends with the quoted self realization of the protagonist. Yes happiness is what we indeed need to create and we are always in the process of creating it in someway or the other and maybe in other words one may replace “pursuit” in place of “process to create” too 😀 hahaha well !!! If we tends to find happiness in little things like kids does, it will make our life indeed happier and more peaceful. But as in the video games, we always make a level-up and the definition of happiness keep changing with time and so our expectations.
Such a nice feel-good post !!! 😀
I feel happiest and complete when I am with my family at weekends 🙂
Feel happy when I able to play some hard arpeggios.
Feel happy when at vacation.
Feel happy reading books.
Feel happy eating.
Feel happy smoking.

I must stop now 😛
“This part of my life, this part right here? This is called ‘happiness’” which movie is this?? Is this from ‘Pursuit of Happiness?’ And I rally hope that I too find happiness in those little moments..Something which I enjoy today turns out to be a chore the other day. 🙁 Thank you for sharing your good moments 😀
Yes it is from that movie ! Do watch it 🙂
Indeed it happen like what is happiness today is a chore tomorrow. Then we move on and pursue some other reason to be happy and life also provides endless number of options to make us happy. But we must choose wisely each options.:D

Seeing that always puts a smile on my face and makes my mother laugh about how childish I am. Lol
Wow! Does this really work? I am excited to know that! So, I am gonna paste my favourite comic character and see how it goes! Thank you Jeva 🙂 Hi-five!
Nowadays I have pasted Winnie the Pooh posters in my room because of the beautiful colour palette. I don’t think I am ever going to lose the childish me.
Hello My love, I couldn’t find Gyokuro Tea on Amazon’s website, but I did find Sencha and Matcha tea and they are also high in EGCG concentration. Go to Amazon and try to find ‘Heapwell Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder’ and ‘TeaTreasure Japanese Sencha Green Tea’. Both are great! 🙂
I do drink Green Tea sometime but generally the taste of it brings me Tea(r) 😛 …I prefer long leaf Darjeeling tea brewed black or with little milk and sugar or normal leaf black tea with lemon, ginger and sugar or coffee with little milk sometime but void sugar 🙂
Thank for the information!!! If green tea reduces fat and protect against cancer I will should try them more 😀
haha..I can assure you that Green tea would bring more magic into your life plus it has numerous health benefits especially preventing someone from Cancer. Just 1-2 cup will do the magic. Try it 🙂
One could relate a quote “There is no truth but only perception” with this superb post ! I must say that you have got higher emotional quotient that most of us !!!
You judged that man for his weird attitude but your judgement didn’t harm him directly or indirectly, isn’t it ?! So It is ok man !!! We do judge people sometime or the other as “to err is human” hahaha 😀
On contrary It seems the incident you faced in childhood left a long term effect in your shadow archetype / subconscious and that indeed an offence done by your friend’s mom maybe unknowingly …. 🙁
Childhood is fragile. Most of the times belief system gets developed in childhood only which keeps playing with the subconscious mind throughout the life. That’s why I say this to my friends to be extra careful while talking to kids. We are shaping their future by our words.1
I so agree. When i was a kid a cousin of my mom came to visit us. On being introduced to me and my younger sister, she told my mom “younger one is very pretty, you won’t have any problems getting her married”. I kept smiling politely but i swear, that one comment broke my heart and confidence into a thousand pieces. To this day, i find it hard to accept or believe any compliments about my looks. We need to be so careful with our words while talking to kids. Thank you Ankkita for sharing your experiences so honestly, it helps people more than you can imagine. You are such a good writer.

Full of nice thoughts and quotes and incredibly written !!!
Well “Homecoming” the is very powerful word .. I just couldn’t explain ….and if you already achieved it by meditation then it is great !!!
Actually home is where our heart as “we are all returning” …. …maybe to be awaken and find ourselves at home again 🙂
Hey have you noticed your Insta post with handwritten quotes in aesthetic way ! I mean they have a great contrast with dazzling colors and some with nice mix and match back and foreground. Expect Quora which I think to be productive, I seldom use other platforms.
At first I though KonMari is a martial arts u r learning 😛
Lol..I am happy with Yoga..No martial arts!! I tried putting all my creativity in writing Insta posts, but lately realized that I am not that digital to post stuff everyday. Its more like a chore to me which I hate doing.. I guess that’s why my Insta page is pretty boring!
haha..After my husband, the only person to say this is you <3 Thankyou so much my dear. And let's not forget, we all are unique and beautiful in our own ways. I am one, you are too 🙂 <3
I don’t even know you and i think you are beautiful too, both inside and out.

‘Transformational Tuesday’ is an innovative campaign I bet ! An effective idea indeed to change the habit I guess and I already change my default windows wallpaper with a “good listener” wallpaper in my computer 😀 I hope this to be a result producing one ! Well listening is a golden habits one should follow in every kind of interaction and controlling the usual trait of interrupting needs practice indeed. I am practicing it for not be a perfect but maybe to be a little acceptable also 🙂 Sometime I do listen to people and try to understand them but you know, I am not good at expressing my empathy or what I felt and my silence mostly misunderstood which portrays me as a cold hearted person hahaha…. even I say people should understand the silence, they should listen to the silence also because it got a sweet hymn in itself 🙂
I appreciate your fight against miscarriage and health issues and wishing you all the strength to bounce back and I hope you are already on track.Bad Memories do haunts and it always maybe but you see, good memories are equally painful. Just keep the faith, whatever happens He does it for good 🙂 We had been to what you had been. It sometime really tough to keep that faith intact but afterall we need to carry on for someday maybe the storm will over …who could know…. 🙂
That was the best possible celebration of your birthday one could have on earth !!! I could feel the happiness and blessing their eyes reflects for you and your husband. Personally I thought that one of the greatest charity on earth is to feed the hungry stomach with good foods 🙂 The happiness they borne inside are enough to brighten your days and those blessings will surely never let happiness to forget your address again 😀
We also on several occasion distribute foods to hungry people specially children, but sometime I regret that I am not doing anything good to solve their problem permanently. Still I find it a very noble task one could perform and give myself a hi-five 🙂
Just wonderfull writing asusual with full of wise thoughts !!!
Thanks Ashikur! I believe when we see too much of hunger issues especially among kids, we wish that we could solve it all. But then a little step is okay too. 🙂 Kudos to your efforts. I hope you take some time out to appreciate yourself for what you do. Because not everyone does that!!
Ankita, your presentation through a roommate story is excellent and the ways to start is also good but that may differ from person to person. It’s really good the way you are trying to inculcate the habit of yoga and meditation amongst the people. Keep it up and God bless you.
This is very inspiring one !!! The practical points you mentioned are indeed very helpful to tackle with situations. Entrenchment of those qualities into one’s character will not only make one strong but will portray more mature image of oneself to others. It happen to be a very useful post for me as most of the time I failed to follow those rules. Yes, I just realize reading this that I need to improve a lot and thank you for that !!! 🙂
And thumbs up to your yoga friend for fighting the battle hard, wishing her all the very best 🙂 …on the context, I, as usual could relate with a wonderful quote from “The Kafka on the Shore” ( I haven’t read it fully yet) and thought to enlighten my comment with the same and further burdening your kind eyes 😀
” And once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
The whole of the book is just wonderful to read and realize. The above is the just a small part of probably the introduction part of the book 🙂
Oh! This is so wonderful! I read this quote somewhere but did not know the actual source. So, the above quote is from this book named ‘The Kafka on the Shore”! Thanks aton for letting me know. I hope to read it very soon 🙂
Thali also prevents men like me from over eating 🙂 It is just enough to satiate the craving for more food and also nourishes accordingly.
Whenever I visit any new state here I do try their local thali. I enjoy the variety in taste, texture, presentation, prelude, main play and conclusion of each thali of different states and it carries their cultural and social heritage also. Most driving inspiration behind visiting new places is to eat their local food/thali 😛
To me the best is however Bengali Thali accompanied with fish/egg/mutton/chicken, second could be from Rajasthan (all veg) then Goa (lots of sea food), Southern especially Keralian (lots of sea food), Marathi (mostly veg), Odia (little difference from Bengali but with better taste of veg dishes). Not yet tried north eastern though 🙂
Deliciously crafted post and I hope more to see you writing about foods !!! 😀
My husband is from Bengal, I will show him your comment. I am sure he would love to hear that someone loves Bengali food the most 😛
Please share the article among your friends and family. 🙂
If anyone wants to think for themselves that they are ugly, they are not beautiful, they themselves are absolutely wrong.
Because no one can judge their own self in terms of beauty and this is how, the low esteem develops in humans.
The beauty lies in the eye ? of beholder, guess who…
There is a book called Pollyanna which discusses the issue of happiness nicely with a story. I think you would like it though it’s a children’s classic.
WOW !!! Style of yours is quite different in this piece of writing. It is kind of a breezy with emotions 🙂
Nature intrigues me always, it indeed heals, as you mentioned and it sometime resonate with my sadness and takes it away. Its feels good to see sunrise and sunset, various shades reverberate feelings and make peace with our dark memories. Darkest of night reminds me of our final destination and rain connects me with the divine sky while sunrise makes me offer gratitude and prayer that I’m still breathing …. list is quite long for jotting down hahaha 😀
Nature calculates and connects every single thing down the line with the power within itself which is certainly as you mentioned “pathway …”
Haha..it’s good to see that you could connect to it. I read somewhere, ‘When you walk through a beautiful garden, you feel open and light. You feel beauty. You don’t judge the shape and placement of every leaf. The leaves are of all sizes and shapes and they face every-which-way. That’s what make them beautiful. What if you felt the same way about people? What if we all were like flowers, and however we happened to be, seemed to be beautiful to each other?’ I feel that’s the greatest learning from Nature that beauty lies in differences.
It is an excellent one !!!! The way you put down your realisation in words is just awesome. This piece of writing is also a helpful one for self contemplation of happiness.
On the context, I could not resist myself to share one of the most powerful quote from my favourite movie The pursuit of happyness.
“It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. No matter what. How did he know that?”
‘ That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. ‘ This line touched my heart! Thankyou for sharing:)
Interesting write up on Vit B12 minus references of the source reduces the credibility of the content. Also even the meat eaters can also go low on Vit B12.
Thankyou Mr. Pramod for taking out time to read and comment. I do have tried to give reference to the piece of Information I have extracted, like talking about ‘NIA’ and giving credit for Journal of Applied Microbiology. Other than than most of the stuff are taken from random Internet articles and my discussion with my family doctor and naturopathic doctor.
I have been thinking of bringing meditation into my routine for a long time now. Your article has helped me start the habit without thinking too much into it. Thank you so much!!!

Hi Ankita,
I was trying meditation but I stopped doing it eventhough I liked meditating due to situations but you have made me realize that there’s no exact place to meditate through your ways of doing.Yay I’m gonna start afresh again.
Have to mention that the roommate disclosure part was intelligent.
Thanks Ashikur! Not sure if you would find this in India, you can search it in Amazon, This is something widely used in US and Canada, https://vimergy.com/products/usa-grown-spirulina I buy Spirulina in powder form from Amzon and the brand is Organika.
I searched now in Amazon and I got confused to the core 😐 even Patanjali got a spirulina capsule 😛 .. however I may get one with most positive feedback I think

Ankkita,Your beauty is unique. Each one of us were made different. Like you there is no other. God made you wonderfully. What we see in the magazines are mostly made up… Embrace the natural YOU. You are Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. Keep living your story. ?
Upon reading your article, I realize that most of my life, I have been a “victim “.
Now sometimes I am the ” rescuer”.
Hopefully I will never become a ” persecuter “.
Thanks for writing such an interesting and informative blog and explaining everything so succinctly.
Oh yes! I too have been a victim for a larger part of my life, though I have realized that with awareness, slowly it gets better!
Hope you find a great neighbour, who will be a friend too ?
haha..Thank you!! <3
Thanks for explaining everything so lucidly.
Thank you!!! <3
Yes
Thank you Quora for bringing me here.
I am happy you liked it! 🙂
Hope you have a good neighbour now! Nice blog by the way…
Thank you, Larisa!!
This has opened my eyes on a lot of things, Thank U!!
I am glad it resonated with you!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Rachana <3
For me, deep breathing helps.
Also, there is a biochemic medicine Kali Phos 6X . That too helps
Glad you commented what helps you. It might help others who read it.

Great one with nice pictures !!!
I have reduced taking sugar since 2 years and restrict myself upto 2 sweets a day maximum 🙂 I also quit having sugar in tea and coffee.
Do you feel any difference?
I felt it after 6 months or so that I got more fit and my tummy reduced a little. Facial skin also improved a lot.
Yaaay!!!
Wonderful content. Appreciate all the hard work behind this.
Thank you, Sir!!
Oh! I have the same issue..Don’t know how we can get rid of it. 🙁
Hi Ankkita,
It feels so peaceful to read through your blogs and to know that there are others like me who go through the same thing. You really have a way with words, and are able to express the feelings so beautifully. Something which I find very hard to express.
I have been thinking about Vipassana for few years now. Would like to know which is the place that you went to?
Thank you so much Niharika <3 I went to Egberg, Ontario.
Really it is great..
The Karma we are doing now the definitely results we will get in future.
Like in Bhagwat geeta Sri Krishna said, “Do selfless karma and leave everything to me”
Everything goes around come back to you .
Your Narrative Style is really awesome sister. I Hope you will do more interesting topics.
That’s really informative 🙂
Very touchy story. Nicely narrated
Thanks Ajit 🙂
Hey! Nice information. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I am glad it helped Babita 🙂
What a lovely article. I hope you are well with your health. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you so much!
So it all comes to thoughts, our very life is an outcome of our thought process then.
Is it ???
As per my understanding, our life is an outcome of our past actions, however, future can be altered based on our thought process.
Really nice mam!
I feel some positivity around me right now. 🙂
I am glad it helped girl <3
Thank you for opening my eyes, I am now believing in love again.

I am glad you could resonate Jitun 🙂
I was really in a need of words like this. After reading this article, what I am thinking is letting go of my parameters and expectations. Thank you for such a wonderful article.

Hey Althea, I really wish you get someone real soon. 37 is not that bad as love knows no barriers. All the best and good luck with your search <3
Ankita you are a good soul and your man is lucky .
That’s soo kind of you Bikram <3
Love every bit of this story, there is no perfect person and we cannot enter a shop to look for our customized partners but rather, remove all barriers we put on others and then surely, love will blossom when we least expect it. i still cannot explain how hearts meet and fall completely for someone without any serious reasons. all these are nature and the universe. indeed true love is not conditional or attached to anything but rather open and compassionate. a collection of hearts living for each others happiness. Sharing is caring
Thanks alot Ankkita for sharing.
Thank you Daniel. In today’s online world, I hope we all learn to filter, then to ‘shop’.

Reading this story inspires not only those you are going through this journey themselves but also others who think too much of the problems in their life. When you can face this so bravely, why can’t we deal with our problems.
Glad you liked it Divya! Pls share it among friends..Such faces need recognition!
Thanks Divya for your kind words 🙂

I am soo happy to know that it helped Kashyap 🙂 Keep loving, keep living. 🙂
Beautifully written Ankita 🙂
I have generally observed forgiving brings lot of inner peace to ourselves ?
Indeed it does. And I have observed that guys forgive easily, while the ladies take time. They roast the incident, fry it, and chew it till it burns their heart. Ouch!
Best wishes for your future!???
It was truly inspiring!!
Thank you Radha <3

Thanks Ankkita for sharing an inspirational ordeal of Prapti. Thanks again for sparing some space for the world to expess their feelings from the core of their hearts.
Now, I’ve a few words for Prapti.
Also I extend my congratulations to your loving and caring parents and others who stood by you in your distressing hours.
Above all I’m grateful to the Almighty who gave you an opportunity to understand the beauty of life again.

Thanks for sharing your story, Prapti Gupta and
Ankita Sinha… More power to you girls.
From an ignorant and arrogant guy who has been moved by this account.

Stay calm and safe!! This too shall pass!!

More power and love to you..Keep doing the amazing work 🙂
Thank you Saketh! That’s very kind of you. Please share it among the people you think would be benefited. What goes around comes around. 🙂
Cheers!
Very well written!! For a moment I thought there was a real roommate till it reached the “in the mind”. Very good tips
Thank you Praveen 🙂
Very interesting read. What kind of change did you experience after this meditation course?
Wonderful and such a lucid description!!!! 😀
Enjoyed reading this !!!!
Very useful interesting information about Vipassana meditation. Thank you. Sivakumar
I am so glad you liked it. You should try it once you get chance. 🙂
Thanks Ankita for sharing your experience.
Thank you Dhanya! Do plan to experience it if you get chance. 🙂
Lovely article. I really enjoyed reading it. I have been thinking of doing this for the past few years but I am not sure if I am ready for it yet. The emotions can be quite intense. Thanks for sharing your experience
I guess you should try it once. It’s not that scary as it sounds. And once you see the benefits, you will be in awe of the experience. Go for it!! 🙂
I have read that our body can produce its own vitb12 apart from getting it from meat or dairy sources .
Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
Spot on wіth this write-up, I actuаlly believe this website needs far more
attention. I’ll probably be returning to read through more, tһanks for the

Hey ankia, do u remember loosing your appetite and stomach issues before your diagnosis? I recently diagnosed with celiac and h pylori.my symptoms are coming on and off.i am getting night sweats not bad but just my neck or upper part is in sweat,i am loosing weight ad well but doctor says its cz I have no appetite.i had endoscopy,ct scan with dye ,ultrasound and only my upper endoscopy showed my small intestine are inflamed due to celiac. Hey Ankita;
I really look fwd to your quora answers 🙂
I usually listen to soothing music before I sleep; and remember the times when I was rocked to sleep as a kid 😉 ; and I too play on a swing for a while before bedtime…trust me it helps me sleep like rock….
Thank you for sharing Shreevidya 🙂 I too will try to do that! 🙂
It’s a good thing, that you are helping
Thank you for sharing this David 🙂 I hope this helps me too!! 🙂
You’re one of the strongest person I have ever seen Didi. You can get through it. You’re an inspiration for all of us. Get well soon Didi.

Hi! Ankkita,
First of all sorry! as I spelt your name wrong in my prior comment-just realized.. Thank you so much! for the response.
Just a quick question-Do you buy it online from DavidsTea?
Thanks,
Sonal
No worries my dear 🙂 No, I don’t buy it from Davids Tea. I buy it from Amazon website. If you are in US or Canada I can share you the link. If you are in India, I know that Amazon does not have Gyokuro Tea on Amazon India website (I searched it for my parents). But Matcha Tea is there.
Yes! I am in Canada. Can you please share the link?
You are a very brave woman! Get well soon e-friend :).
Thanks,
Sonal
Thank you Sonal! 🙂 Check your email!
Hi! Anikkita,
Thanks! so much for providing great insights about tea.
Can you please let me know from where do you buy Gyokuro tea? I need to know name of the shop.
Thanks.
Sonal
Hi Sonal, I buy it online in Canada. If you are in India, see if you can find it online. Else Matcha Tea is also a wonderful option to go with. It has pretty similar properties as Gyokuro Tea. Cheers!
Dosa and Idly!!
I think that should be okay too if you add sambhar and other chutneys too!
Ankkita’s blog is literally one of the best food and nutrition blogs anywhere I read it all the time and I’m also
grateful I found https://leancoding.co/ENVGMX it not only helped me lose weight but keep it off I hope it helps
some others!
Thank you for sharing this Janet!
Hi Ankita, came across your Quora page today and that lead me to your blog. Some say Green tea brings infertility in both women and men. Is it true?
I don’t think it’s correct my dear. Of all the books and articles I have read on Green Tea, I never found something like this. Infact Green Tea is super healthy!
Just be physically active throughout the day. It works most of the times.
hmmm. I try to go to Yoga 2-3 times a week..However, I think I should incorporate running too in my routine. Thanks Jeva 🙂
Ankita
I really feel good after visiting your site even I thought to open one and pour my thoughts .
This is great my dear!! 🙂 All the best to you 🙂 I hope we all come up with wonderful ideas to share 🙂
Going to gym is a wonderful way to get in shape too 🙂
Nicely explained about the necessity to detox and may I request to extend the ways to detox in simple and by in house methods?
I am glad you are willing to start. Please keep an eye on my blog postings too and I will share recipes and methods for body detox. Also, its not just body, it’s about ‘mind, body and soul’ together.:)
Feel happy drinking (Water).
Feel happy reading-commenting your posts or any other good posts.
Feel happy walking.
Feel happy sitting idle.
Feel happy …
Hi Ankita
If you can kindly provide link of where to buy this tea.
That would be highly appropriated.
Thank you so much for writing this. ?
Hello My love, I couldn’t find Gyokuro Tea on Amazon’s website, but I did find Sencha and Matcha tea and they are also high in EGCG concentration. Go to Amazon and try to find ‘Heapwell Japanese Matcha Green Tea Powder’ and ‘TeaTreasure Japanese Sencha Green Tea’. Both are great! 🙂
I have bookmarked every blog of yours and I read it whenever I feel weak in life.
That’s so kind of you my dear <3 However, I wish that more than reading, you implement those things too :). That's the best gift FOR you TO you <3 <3'
I do drink Green Tea sometime but generally the taste of it brings me Tea(r) 😛 …I prefer long leaf Darjeeling tea brewed black or with little milk and sugar or normal leaf black tea with lemon, ginger and sugar or coffee with little milk sometime but void sugar 🙂
Keep sharing !!! 😀
Lovely! keep writing.:)
Thanks for sharing your story. I felt as if I am the part of the story.
Glad you liked it Aayushi! 🙂 Hugs and love <3
Judge people is not understanding them.
People like judge but they don’t like people judging them.
Treat people as you would people treat you.
Thank you my friend you sharing your opinion 🙂 I agree with the line ‘Treat people as you would people treat you.’
You are the most beautiful woman of this world. Trust me.
haha..After my husband, the only person to say this is you <3 Thankyou so much my dear.
Thankyou so much 🙂
hahaha lets see 🙂
That was the best possible celebration of your birthday one could have on earth !!!
By the way … I love jeera rice with veg curry 😛
Thanks Ashikur! I believe when we see too much of hunger issues especially among kids, we wish that we could solve it all. But then a little step is okay too. 🙂 Kudos to your efforts. I hope you take some time out to appreciate yourself for what you do. Because not everyone does that!!
Ankita, your presentation through a roommate story is excellent and the ways to start is also good but that may differ from person to person. It’s really good the way you are trying to inculcate the habit of yoga and meditation amongst the people. Keep it up and God bless you.
Thanks Ravi. Please spread the word. It might help someone. A good deed never goes in vein. 🙂
1 ton thanks is a huge load to carry 😛
My pleasure 🙂
I am from Bengal too hahaha …that’s why Bengali food is my favorite 😀
I do share this fabulous space of yours whenever possible 🙂
The beauty lies in the eye ? of beholder, guess who…
God is great.
Namaste ?!
There is a book called Pollyanna which discusses the issue of happiness nicely with a story. I think you would like it though it’s a children’s classic.
Thankyou Jeva! I will definitely give it a read 🙂
I am a disconnect one 😛
Agreed with your view ! beauty lies in what makes us unique among other and everybody is unique in his or her own way I guess 😀
Very nice and helpful post keep going !!!
Thank You for your words, they’re appreciated as much as are You.
Thankyou Thomas! Please spread the word:)
Hi Ankkita 🙂
I have been thinking of bringing meditation into my routine for a long time now. Your article has helped me start the habit without thinking too much into it. Thank you so much!!!
I am so glad to know that it helped Archana <3 Please share the article among your friends and family. 🙂
Hi Ankita,
I was trying meditation but I stopped doing it eventhough I liked meditating due to situations but you have made me realize that there’s no exact place to meditate through your ways of doing.Yay I’m gonna start afresh again.
Have to mention that the roommate disclosure part was intelligent.
Power to you. Love.

Superb !!!

Very informative !!!
I heard about Spirulina long ago but haven’t tried yet. It is also available in capsule form but I fear they are adulterated somehow in India.
If you know any good brand of Spirulina that are available here please inform me 🙂
Thanks Ashikur! Not sure if you would find this in India, you can search it in Amazon, This is something widely used in US and Canada, https://vimergy.com/products/usa-grown-spirulina I buy Spirulina in powder form from Amzon and the brand is Organika.
Thanks for the suggestion 🙂
The brand you mentioned is not available here 🙂
I searched now in Amazon and I got confused to the core 😐 even Patanjali got a spirulina capsule 😛 .. however I may get one with most positive feedback I think
I found something named ‘Parry Wellness Organic Spiriluna’ on Amazon India. Not tried though the reviews look good!
